Casual elegance made by Bruuns Bazaar

Founded in 1994 by brothers Teis und Bjørn Bruun, the Danish label Bruuns Bazaar is considered a pioneer of the Scandinavian fashion world, which has grown from being a small label to a fashion giant within only a decade.

In 1995 Bruuns Bazaar presented its first collection and managed to debut at Paris Fashion Week as a first Danish label only after four years of launching. In the same year, the duo established its younger line, BZR, that debuted in August 2008 during Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The fashionable appeal of the brand is characterised by casual elegance. Typically clean cuts meets rather reserved colouring and discreet silhouettes without appearing simple at all. Alongside the menswear and womenswear line, the label also offers accessories.
In 2016 the famous brand filed for bankruptcy and presented its last collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week 2016. Lastly, Lene Borggaard held tenure as the label’s Creative Director. Right after falling into insolvency, the Danish fashion label has been acquired by retail group Hanssen Brands to develop and drive the label forward.
