Chanel goes Germany – Métiers d’Art Show Took Place in Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie
He did it – Karl Lagerfeld made his hometown the setting for his Métiers d’Art Show 2017. On the 6th December Karl Lagerfeld celebrated his latest Haute Couture creations for French fashion label Chanel with celebrities, bloggers and fashionistas in Hamburg. An exclusive fashion show, taking place in the very famous Elbphilharmonie.
The legendary Métiers d’Art Show showed designs, which are typical for Chanel and the exquisite fashion the label stands for.

Karl Lagerfeld converted the “Großen Saal” of the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie into his very own catwalk and send his models onto the catwalk in amazing looks. Inspired by the typical sailor style we were able to spot some tweed looks, traditional woman suits, shoes with socks and colourful highlights in jackets, sweatshirts, jumpers and caps. The designs showed the tailoring of Chanel - embellished jackets, skirts and dresses. Again and again Karl Lagerfeld does not fail to recreate Coco Chanel designs in a modern way. Timeless French fashion.

The music was provided by the orchestra of the Elbphilharmonie itself. The fashion show also showed the amazing and unique design of the Elphilharmonie.
The Métiers d’Art Show stands for amazing settings and perfect showcases and this year Karl Lagerfeld has proven once again that he is indeed – King Karl.
