Fendi Season 2017: Karl Is King

Fendi Season 2017: Karl Is King

High chic, but not too fancy and not too fairytale. Karl Lagerfeld proves again that his taste in style is eternal.

The Fendi Spring/Summer 2017 Runway bag collection will offer pastel and sorbet colored handbags. All inspired by Vanellope von Schweetz from the cartoon Wreck-It Ralph and gave the bags their colorful look. They feature floral and ribbon embroideries and give the collection a feminine vibe.

The Fendi bags from last season are still rocking the street style looks and bloggers are still over the moon. Fendi has been very popular over the last years and the bags are a must have since introducing the Baguette. Fendi continues to take that road to success and launched 2016 dark-hued variations. The bags are embellished with oversized rivets or whipstitching and separately sold straps that are making a fashion statement themselves.

Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini decided that ruffles would also be a thing for Fendi in 2016. Three-dimensional leather ruffles, stitched waves, furs down. The Peekaboo played the most important role in season 2016.

For 2017 the straps are continuing to be the top accessory of the fashion house. The “Strap You” collection shows again vibrant colors and feature classic leather or exotic materials, such as python, multicolor stud embroider.

Bloggers, models and celebrities have already started trending the Fendi bag with their own unique straps, as you can see on the pictures of almost all fashion weeks.

Fendi did not only invent the strap but also the bag charms in 2016, giving classic bags a fashionable upgrade. The Fendi Bag Bugs looks like little furry monsters added to your high fashion piece. The are not only fashion but also have even become collectors items.

Once again, Karl Lagerfeld is showing off his amazing talent and devotion to the brand Fendi. His minimalism in designs has gone through his long career and his amazing simplicity of designs is just perfect for the Italian label. He makes the bags feel glorious and intense. Fendi always has a bit of an edge in its designs and we have Karl to thank.
