Mix-and-Match – Patterns and Colours – Prints and Styles

Mix-and-match is a long-time fashion love story going back over many seasons. The trend is evolving each year again, with the latest styles and new combinations.
No wonder that this summer at Milan Fashion Week mix-and-match was ruling the looks of bloggers and fashionistas.

Here are some ideas that will make you a mix and match expert:

We spotted Desirée and Jennifer in their streetstyle looks before the Alberta Ferretti show. Both of them were wearing mix-and-match streetstyle looks. A more tomboy look would be the high-waisted blue pants with a shiny blouse and velvet red bag. On the other side we see a very girly look – an embellished skirt combined with a sheer blue shirt added to a pink bag. Both looks combine mules and big sunglasses.

Doina was wearing mix-and-match prints in her very orange blogger look. Oversized boots, an orange skirt with belt details, a blouse with little prints and a leather bag. The only non-orange piece of her look were the classy black sunglasses – no worries, Doina: Your look is shiny and fresh. We really like that orange line of yours.

Another look we spotted after the Alberta Ferretti show was worn by Grace. A deep purple skirt with some floating details and a shiny black blouse. These two pieces are made of the same fabric but yet are still different. Adding some back sandals and a black bag and the look is completed. A more classy and chic look, but black and purple definitely do a great job here.

A totally different world of mix-and-match is the outfit of Sara for the Etro show. Beautiful and colourful flower print with some striped details and inside colours and seams. The colours themselves are mix-and-match. Florals are one of the biggest trends 2017 did have. Sara is rocking that look.

A very unique maxi dress with print would be the look of Stefania. Her beautiful light maxi dress is printed with bling bling – diamonds. She added gold sunglasses and a black leather clutch. Something very simple and something very special. That is Sara’s interpretation of mix-and-match.

And now, with all these streetstyle inspirations you are able to create your own mix-and-match look. But be careful – you might get addicted to it – just saying.
