It was the 94th edition of
Pitti Uomo in Florence and the renowned
Gucci Garden Museum inaugurated two new rooms dedicated to the collaboration between
Gucci and the Irish singer-songwriter
Björk.
A breathtaking luminescent dress, pearls, crystals, ribbons – an artwork made of organza and pleated silk jersey.
However, the exhibition does not only include another dress, but also a series of accessories, masks and books, which are showing the link between art and fashion.
Gucci Garden was conceived by creative director
Alessandro Michele and the exhibition is curated by critic
Maria Luisa Frisa. Walking through the rooms reminds of a time travel into the exquisite designs of
Gucci. The Gucci Eye is the designated symbol of the
Gucci Garden. Each room has an own theme. The
Gucci Garden Galleria includes a small cinema auditorium, which features a preview of Zeus Machine/Phoenix – actually a short film by the ZAPRUDER filmmakersgroup.
