London Fashion Week is different than all the other fashion weeks – it is a very creative, individual and absolutely vibrant week.
London Fashion Week Fall/Winter was packed with 80 designer on the official catwalk and over 100 brands showcasing in the Designer Showrooms, which means 80 on-schedule designers, 54 catwalk shows, 26 presentations and more than 20 events. Wow.
Designers as ALEXACHUNG, FYODOR GOLAN, House of Holland, JW Anderson, Mary Katrantzou, Sadie Williams, Victoria Beckham, Burberry, first time under Riccardo Tisci, and Nicholas Kirkwood (first catwalk collection) were showcased at LFW. Jenny Packham returned to London to celebrate her brand’s 30th anniversary.
Positive fashion is one of the main parts for LFW, which means sustainable fashion is being celebrated. For the first time in London #nofur was shown in the fashion shows. Following last season’s tremendous success DiscoveryLab continued to host a fashion forward zone for thinkers, makers, explorers and innovators within fashion.
