There’s No Such Thing as “Too Many” Shoes or Bags!

Fancy, fancy, fancy. That is the trend for 2017 when it comes to bags and shoes. And we are not just speaking of the women’s department. Menswear is catching on and has become more focused on delivering flashy accessories.

So, what have we spotted at the fashion weeks in Milan 2017 so far? These are the statement trends bloggers love:

Tropical vibes inspired by Dolce & Gabbana — This trend was successfully pulled off using a collection of pink bags, embellished with crystals and golden embroideries. From pineapples on the bags to pink shoes with pineapples for heels. This is a playful spin on chic that will last all Summer!

The bags are not only hand painted, but also come in Italian style mosaics and with lemons and red details. Loewe introduced the Doina Bag, which looks like an art piece of patchwork as a bag with bright colours. The Giancarlo Petriglia bag looks like a mane of a unicorn but it is actually a zebra on the bag. Rainbow colours details with fringes. The Hibourama bag is embroidered with golden and red details and crystals. Louis Vuitton added patches on the backpacks and bags. Finally, at YSL we saw jeans bags – a fancy casual statement for street style lovers and millenials.

It doesn’t just end at bags. We’ve got the fancy shoes covered, too.

Creative director Alessandro Michele from Gucci introduced some heavy embellished pumps, moccasins and loafers with brogue detailing and snake coil heels. The leather horse-bit loafer is not just a female shoe. It is also available for men to wear as they please. They come with rainbow details and even show the British flag. The leather loafers come with block heel pearl embellishments. Also the color combinations are quite interesting and give the impression that pearly shades are a sure thing this season.
